I'm wondering if any of you have any experience with this model, specifically, the wiring to and from the battery and both the convertor and the solar port. I'm planning on doing some mods to install a solar charge controller internally, close to the convertor/fuse panel in the front bedroom, as well as a digital panel to display voltage, current draw etc.
My plan is to rewire the Furrion solar port to my solar charge controller first and then output from it to the battery instead of the port being wired directly to the battery as it comes from factory. Are those wires difficult to access?
Also some changes in wiring will need to made at the convertor/ fuse panel. Based on the layout and width of the wall I have to assume much of the wiring there is under the bathroom vanity. I will determine this on my own but just wondering if anyone has done any of this and has advice.
